BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) -- Eric Norman had 16 points and nine rebounds on Thursday night to lead Montana State in its last non-conference home game of 2013, a 109-79 victory over Southwestern Christian.
Montana State (5-5) outrebounded SW Christian 42-23 and held the Eagles to only three offensive boards.
The Bobcats overcame a slow start in which they trailed 12-6 after the first four minutes by going on a 20-3 run to take a double-digit lead.
The Eagles hung around, trailing only 47-39 with two minutes to go in the half, but the Bobcats rallied with a 7-1 run to end the period and a 10-2 run to open the second.
SW Christian was 14 of 33 from 3-point range, but the Bobcats were 13 of 24 from long distance and shot 62.1 percent from the field.
Stephan Holm had 18 points for the Bobcats while Tyler Turner led the Eagles with 17 points.
