Sporting Kansas City will be hoping to continue its home dominance over the San Jose Earthquakes when the California club visits Kansas City on Saturday.
Seven times running SKC has beaten the 'Quakes at home, but the club is still looking for its first league win of 2014 and faces an Earthquakes side still looking to find its first win as well.
For Sporting, an opening matchday loss to the Seattle Sounders was followed up by a 1-1 draw against FC Dallas.

San Jose has played just once in the league so far this season, but that game was a thrilling 3-3 draw with Real Salt Lake.
Both teams are also coming off of midweek CONCACAF Champions League dates, with San Jose falling on penalties to Mexican club Toluca, while Sporting was dismantled by Cruz Azul 5-1.
The all-time series between these two teams is nearly even, with San Jose having one more win (21) than Sporting (20) and the teams having drawn seven times. The home teams have also traditionally been dominant, with Sporting taking 16 of its 20 wins at home while San Jose has picked up 14 of its 21 on home turf.
