  • D.C. United's miserable season continued Saturday, as the team lost 1-0 at home to Vancouver. The squad is in dead last in MLS, with just nine points from 17 games.

  • Seattle hasn't played since June 22, when it dropped a 2-0 decision at Real Salt Lake.
  • Obafemi Martins, Eddie Johnson and Lamar Neagle are all tied for the Seattle team lead in goals with four each.
  • Each team will be missing a player for the Gold Cup: Seattle will be without Mario Martinez (Honduras), while DCU goalkeeper Bill Hamid will be with the United States.
  • D.C. United has not scored a MLS goal from open play since a 1-1 draw with Sporting KC on May 19 -- a span of more than six games.
