The Houston Dynamo have advanced to the last two MLS Cups the hard way - by clinching on the road. They'll have to do it again Saturday night at Sporting Kansas City if they want to make it three in a row. Follow GOAL.COM on Twitter
Following a drab 0-0 tie in the first leg in Houston, it's all to play for as the teams head to Sporting Park for the second leg of the Eastern Conference final.
Sporting KC will have to overcome recent history if it is to advance to MLS Cup: Houston has eliminated Peter Vermes' side from the playoffs the past two seasons, and both times the Dynamo achieved the feat at Sporting Park.
Houston's task will be extremely difficult if two of its key players - Ricardo Clark and Will Bruin - are unable to shake off injuries before the game. Both players were forced out of the first leg with injury and are questionable for the second leg. Sporting KC, meanwhile, is hoping to have midfielders Peterson Joseph and Lawrence Olum available.
The game will likely be a low-scoring affair, at least if recent history is anything to go by. The most recent two meetings between the sides ended in 0-0 draws. In addition to the first leg of this series, the final regular season meeting between the teams ended scoreless Oct. 9 in Houston.
