Ticket prices for Wednesday's Game 6 of the World Series in Boston's Fenway Park reached Super Bowl levels. The chance to see the Red Sox win the championship for the first time at home since 1918 drove the average cost of a ticket up to $2,056 on the resale market Wednesday morning, according to information obtained by ESPN through TiqIQ, a ticket tracking company. That's in the neighborhood of the average resale price of $2,199 for the Super Bowl in February. Prices for a chance to see the Red Sox possibly win it all against the St. Louis Cardinals ranged from $1,000 for bleacher seats to $24,000 for two first-row seats in a dugout box. The Red Sox won the World Series in 2004 and in 2007, but both times they did it on the road. ---Outfielder Shane Victorino returned to the Boston lineup for Game 6 of the World Series on Wednesday night against the St. Louis Cardinals. Victorino missed the two previous games in St. Louis because of tightness in his lower back. Victorino was slated to hit sixth, down from his normal No. 2 spot, with Dustin Pedroia going from third to second and David Ortiz from fourth to third in the batting order. Mike Napoli is in the cleanup spot and playing first base. He'll be followed by left fielder Jonny Gomes. The Red Sox took a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series into Game 6. Boston has not won the clinching game of a World Series at home since 1918.
