MLB roundup: Dodgers' Sellers arrested

Los Angeles Dodgers reserve infielder Justin Sellers was arrested on Saturday and faces charges for allegedly doing "wheelies" on his motorcycle in a Sacramento, Calif., neighborhood.

KCRA-TV in Sacramento said that when police attempted to stop Sellers, the 26-year-old took off. A short chase ensued before Sellers turned himself in.

He was booked in a county jail for reckless driving and evading police.

Police also "have had repeated reports of a motorcyclist driving recklessly in the same neighborhood for the past month," according to KCRA.

Sellers has appeared in 55 games with Dodgers over two seasons. He injured his back in May and had surgery on Aug. 23. He is currently on the Dodgers' 40-man roster.

---The Colorado Rockies have agreed to a minor-league contract with an invitation to spring training with veteran right-hander Miguel Batista.

The 41-year-old spent last season with the Mets and Braves where he compiled a 4.82 ERA with a 1.1 K/BB in 46innings.
