Four people were arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon in a beating in the Dodger Stadium parking lot after Sunday night's game.
A minor accident apparently got out of hand when the driver, described as a man in his 20s, allegedly was attacked by the driver of the other vehicle and three men from another car, Los Angeles Police said Monday.
The unnamed man suffered scrapes and cuts to his face, but the injuries were not life-threatening and he was in stable condition, Sgt. Davis Armas said.
"It was just a minor fender bender that just got totally out of hand," Armas said.
The assault charge stemmed from the four men involved in the attack kicking the victim, Armas said. One of the men was slightly injured.
The victim was accompanied by a woman who was eight months' pregnant, but she was not hurt.
Dodgers security and off-duty Los Angeles police officers responded to the incident, which was the second in a year in the Dodger Stadium parking lot. After last season's opening game, San Francisco Giants fan Bryan Stow suffered brain damage during a beating.
