Miami Dolphins linebacker Koa Misi entered a not guilty plea to three felony charges, stemming from an incident a year ago, according to the Santa Barbara Independent.

Misi is accused of punching through the front door of an apartment and punching a man in the face, and then throwing a cell phone of a woman who was attempting to call for help.

He faces charges of battery with serious injury, residential burglary, and dissuading a witness.

Misi's attorney described the incident as a "drunken altercation."

In any event, if he is convicted, he could face disciplinary action under the NFL's personal conduct policy, as well as any legal repercussions he would face.
