The Vikings gave up scoring plays of 65 yards, 76 yards, and 60 yards and were held in check by the Packers, 44-31, at home.
Christian Ponder finished 14 for 21 with 145 yards, one touchdown (0 pass, 1 rush) and no interceptions. Aaron Rodgers completed 24 of 29 passes for 285 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions for the Packers.
Adrian Peterson was a key factor for the Vikings, rushing for 60 yards on 13 carries with a touchdown in addition to three receptions for 23 yards. Kyle Rudolph caught four passes for 51 yards.
The Minnesota defense gave up 182 yards rushing and 282 passing. They sacked Rodgers two times.
Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson was impressive, racking up 123 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Running back Eddie Lacy also had a good game with 94 rushing yards, 18 receiving and one touchdown.
Next week, the Vikings head to Arlington to face the Cowboys (4-4) while the Packers host the Bears (4-3).
