Update: Olt has been called up to the majors by the Rangers, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports.
Recommendation: This comes as a bit of a surprise - not that Olt isn't deserving, as he was tearing it up at Double-A Frisco (.287/.399/.575 with 27 homers), but he's skipping a level and there's going to be a veteran that will lose playing time as a result, possibly Michael Young.
