Conley finished 11-19 (3-7 from three-point range) and 6-6 from the free throw line, in a quality offensive outing. Other key players for Memphis included Zach Randolph with 20 points and 13 rebounds, and Ed Davis with 10 points and 17 rebounds. On 6-10 shooting (4-5 on 3-point attempts), in addition to going 5-5 from the free throw line, Goran Dragic put up 21 points for Phoenix in the loss. He also registered 8 assists. P.J. Tucker chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds.
The Grizzlies posted a sterling assist-to-turnover ratio of 3.00. This year, they are undefeated (9-0) when they exceed 2.50 in this metric. Conversely, the Suns are winless (0-2) when allowing their opponents to achieve such a stellar ratio.
Phoenix (21-14) has now dropped three consecutive games versus Memphis.
Coming up next, the Grizzlies square off with the Atlanta Hawks, who are 20-17 on the year. The Suns meet the Detroit Pistons, currently 15-22 this season.
