Recommendation: The six-time All-Star and 2002 AL MVP played in 36 games for the Orioles' Triple-A Norfolk affiliate last season before being released in late-June. In 2011, Tejada hit .239/.270/.326 with four homers and 26 RBI in 91 games for the Giants. Despite his declining production, Tejada will get a chance to show he still belongs in the majors during spring training. If he makes the cut, Tejada would provide a veteran backup to the team's young corner infielders.
