Miguel Cabrera: Secures Triple Crown

Rotowire.com
Update: Despite going 0-for-2 against the Royals on Wednesday, Cabrera won the AL Triple Crown with a .330-44-139 batting line.

Recommendation: Cabrera is the first Triple Crown winner since 1967 and he did it playing in 161 games. Major kudos to Cabrera for not bowing out of the final game, although Josh Hamilton played earlier and Mike Trout was a little too far behind in the average anyway. Still, it is an incredibly impressive feat in this day and age and with the Tigers winning the AL Central, he just may have locked up the AL MVP as well.
