Michigan CB Countess out for season

Sophomore cornerback Blake Countess is out for the season with a torn ACL suffered in Saturday's loss to Alabama.

Countess was considered the Wolverines top cornerback despite just six career starts entering the season. He had 44 tackles and six pass breakups last season.

Without Countess, the Wolverines must adjust their nickel package and are expected to slide junior Courtney Taylor from the third cornerback role to an outside cornerback spot. True freshman Terry Richardson and sophomore Raymon Taylor.
