Michael Vick: Restructures Contract With Eagles
Update: Vick agreed to renegotiate his contract with Philadelphia to a one-year deal, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

Recommendation: The deal removes Philadelphia's long-term investment in Vick while retaining the stability he provides at quarterback for another year. The move is very bad news for Nick Foles, who probably won't beat Vick in a competition for the starting spot. Vick offers much more playcalling versatility since he can run effectively, and every element of potential misdirection is one that coach Chip Kelly will utilize aggressively. As always, Vick is a huge injury worry and generally isn't reliable as a player, but Kelly is an impressive quarterback coach and figures to maximize Vick's per-game fantasy value.
