Michael Turner: Could Be Done In Atlanta

Rotowire.com
Update: The Atlanta Journal-Constitution believes Turner is more likely to be released this offseason because his 2013 base salary increased due to past incentives.

Recommendation: Turner's base salary for the 2013 season jumped from $5.5 million to $6.9 million due to an escalator clause and preformance incentives. Jacquizz Rodgers played well in 2012, but there are reports that the Falcons will be eyeing a running back in free agency. It sounds increasingly likely that Turner will get the pink slip this offseason, but the veteran will likely find a new home rather quickly if he gets cut.
