Ryan Tannehill had a big day through the air, leading the way to a win for the Dolphins over the Patriots, 24-20, at home.
Tannehill punished the Patriots for three scores on 25 of 37 passing for 312 yards and no interceptions. Tom Brady kept the Patriots in the game, going 34 of 55 with 364 yards passing, two touchdowns and one pick.
Lamar Miller ran for 61 yards on 15 carries. Mike Wallace was a highlight, pulling in six passes for 105 yards with a touchdown.
The Miami defense surrendered 96 yards rushing and 364 passing. They were able to get to Brady for one sack.
Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman gave a standout effort with 139 receiving yards and one touchdown. Wide receiver Danny Amendola also gave a strong effort with 131 receiving yards.
The Dolphins head to Orchard Park next week to face the Bills (5-9) while the Patriots go to Baltimore to play the Ravens (7-6).
