Lamar Miller established the ground game, paving the way to a win at the end for the Dolphins over the Bengals, 22-20, at home.
Ryan Tannehill went 20 for 28 for the game with 208 yards passing, one touchdown (0 pass, 1 rush) and no interceptions. Andy Dalton went 32 of 53 with 338 yards passing, no touchdowns, three picks and one fumble for the Bengals.
Miller ran all over the Bengals for 105 yards on 16 attempts in addition to four receptions for 24 yards with one fumble. Mike Wallace caught six passes for 82 yards.
The Miami defense was the difference in the victory, giving up 163 yards rushing and 338 passing while taking back one interception for a touchdown. They consistently put pressure on Dalton and the Bengals offensive line, racking up five sacks.
Bengals running back Giovani Bernard had a productive game with 79 yards rushing, 25 receiving and two touchdowns. Wide receiver A.J. Green had a good game as well with 128 receiving yards.
Next week, the Dolphins travel to Tampa to face the Buccaneers (0-7) while the Bengals go to Baltimore to play the Ravens (3-4).
