The Dolphins were edged by the Bills, 23-21, at home.
Ryan Tannehill found the end zone three times on 19 of 37 passing for 194 yards, two picks and one fumble. Thaddeus Lewis ended up going 21 of 32 with 202 yards passing, no touchdowns and one pick for the Bills.
Daniel Thomas ran for 60 yards on 12 carries. Brandon Gibson was a highlight, catching five passes for 40 yards with two scores.
The Miami defense held up well in the loss, giving up 90 yards rushing and 178 passing. They roughed up Lewis with four sacks.
Bills running back Fred Jackson put up 49 receiving yards, 36 rushing and one touchdown.
The Dolphins head to Foxborough next week to face off with the Patriots (5-1) while the Bills travel to New Orleans to play the Saints (5-1).
