KRASNAYA POLYANA, Russia (AP) -- The starting time for the men's super-G at the Sochi Olympics on Sunday has been moved forward one hour to 10 a.m. (0600 GMT) due to a forecast of more warm weather.

The temperature on the Rosa Khutor course has risen to about 10 degrees Celsius (50 degrees Fahrenheit) for the past few days.

Aksel Lund Svindal of Norway is the defending Olympic champion in super-G.

With an earlier start, organizers are hoping the course will hold up better for later skiers and create a fairer race.
