Tatoué, developed by Pierre-Emmanuel Meunier and Johan da Silveira …

… is a modified industrial robot arm, outfitted with a tattooing needle.

To start, you’ll scan the spot on your body where you want the tattoo to a computer.

Next, specialized software will add the tattoo’s image to the digital scan.

The data is delivered to the robot, which then starts slinging ink.

Tattoos from robots aren’t available to the public yet.

But if you’ve dreamed of someday getting tattooed by a giant machine …
