In terms of movement, it was a rather slow week for the latest U.S. Ryder Cup standings.

The biggest mover in this week's top 20 was Matt Kuchar. Kuchar won the RBC Heritage by holing out a bunker shot for birdie on the 72nd hole. It was Kuchar's first victory since the 2013 Memorial and it helped him jump up from No. 6 to No. 3 in the U.S. Ryder Cup team standings.

It also may have been enough for Kuchar to lock down his spot on a third consecutive U.S. Ryder Cup team judging by this post-win tweet by Captain Tom Watson:

"Great bunker shot to seal your victory on 18 Kuch!! Gleneagles here we come!!" -- @TomWatsonPGA

No golfer has been hotter than Kuchar of late. His triumph at Harbour Town marked his fourth top-5 finish in as many starts and his eighth top-10 in 11 starts this season.

Here's a look at the current top 12 (remember, the top nine after the PGA Championship in August automatically qualify, while U.S. Captain Tom Watson fills out the team with three captain's picks):

1. Bubba Watson 2. Jimmy Walker 3. Matt Kuchar 4. Dustin Johnson 5. Jordan Spieth 6. Patrick Reed 7. Harris English 8. Jason Dufner 9. Phil Mickelson ----------------------------- 10. Zach Johnson 11. Chris Kirk 12. Webb Simpson

The only other player to move up in the top 10 after the RBC Heritage was Harris English.

English, winner of the OHL Classic at Mayakoba back in November, shot a 68 on Sunday to tie for 31st at Harbour Town. That helped him gain enough points to move up two positions in the latest standings from No. 9 to No. 7.

There was no other movement outside of the top 10.

The PGA Tour moves on to the Zurich Classic of New Orleans this week at TPC Louisiana, where Keegan Bradley (currently No. 19), Rickie Fowler (15), Matt Every (16), Will MacKenzie (18), Patrick Reed (6) and Kevin Stadler (14) are all scheduled to play.
