The SportsXchange

NHL officials had planned to speak to Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mikhail Grabovski on Sunday after it was alleged that he bit the Montreal Canadiens' Max Pacioretty in Saturday's game, but the league's conversation with Grabovsky has been postponed until Monday, the Montreal Gazette reported.

If any penalty is be levied, it will be done at that time.

Grabovski will meet with Brendan Shanahan, the league's Vice President of Player Safety and Hockey Operations, according to NHL.com.

Pacioretty claims that Grabovski bit him on the hand or arm during a third-period scrum.

Both players received a 10-minute misconduct for the incident that occurred at the 11:30 mark of the period. Grabovski was also issued a roughing minor.

"I saw the bite. You can see that on the video," Montreal coach Michel Therrien said after the game.

It was one of several third-period incidents between the teams.
