Manchester City agrees football development deal with Ghana

Manchester City has struck a deal with the football association of Ghana to help develop football in the west African nation, with officials set to visit the United Kingdom.

The trip is at the invitation of the Premier League champion, which has agreed to allow coaches from the country to tap into its expertise.

"They have invited us to discuss issues of coaching, player development and the exploitation of commercial activities. We will meet their coach in charge of youth development and their staff responsible for commercial activities."

The program will also allow the City officials to visit Ghana to see to other areas of cooperation. Nyantakyi added that he is looking forward to seeing some of the best coaches from both clubs and the Ghana national team leaving for England occasionally for training.

The visiting officials will attend the Premier League match between Manchester City and Tottenham at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
