Manchester City kept pace with Premier League leaders Liverpool by beating relegation-threatened West Brom 3-1 on Monday night, though injuries to Sergio Aguero and David Silva tempered the mood.
Manuel Pellegrini's side started strongly, with Pablo Zabaleta and Sergio Aguero both scoring inside 10 minutes before Martin Demichellis restored the host's two-goal lead after Graham Dorrans had given the Baggies hope.
It wasn't all good news for City, though, as both Aguero and Silva were forced off after the break, with the latter stretchered from the field with a brace around his right ankle.
