Bayern Munich struck two late goals to edge ever closer to the Bundesliga title with a hard-fought 2-0 win at Mainz.
The Bavarians struggled dismally to break down their hosts during the first half and it appeared as if their 17-match winning streak was going to come to an end at the Coface Arena.
However, Bastian Schweinsteiger belatedly broke the deadlock with just eight minutes to go before Mario Gotze sealed the victory late on.
