Magic cut four to reach roster limit

The Orlando Magic trimmed their roster to the NBA's season-opening minimum of 15 by waiving center Mickell Gladness, guard Manny Harris, forward Kris Joseph and forward Romero Osby, the team announced Friday.

Osby, a second-round pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, saw the most playing time during the preseason, appearing in seven games. He averaged 5.6 points and 1.8 rebounds.

Gladness, Harris and Joseph had signed with the Magic as free agents on Sept. 27.

Harris averaged 4.3 points and 1.3 rebounds in six preseason games. Joseph saw action in five games, averaging 5.6 points and 1.8 rebounds per game.

Gladness played in three exhibition games, averaging 1.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocked shots.
