LSU guard Trai Turner has been busy

LSU offensive guard Trai Turner has been extremely busy leading up to the NFL draft.

Since declaring early for the draft, Turner has had private workouts for the Detroit Lions, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Falcons and the New Orleans Saints, visiting the Dallas Cowboys, Arizona Cardinals, Indianapolis Colts and the Miami Dolphins, according to his weekly draft diaries.

A projected second-round to third-round draft target, Turner started every game at right offensive guard last season. He started seven of 12 games played as a freshman.

Turner had the best 10-yard split (1.73 seconds), 20-yard shuttle (4.44) and had the only 4.9 40-yard dash time of any offensive guard at the NFL scouting combine with a 4.93 clocking. He bench pressed 225 pounds 25 times.

The 6-foot-3, 310-pounder third-year sophomore had 115 career knockdowns for the Tigers.
