There was no change among the top five, with Korea's Na Yeon Choi, the USA's Stacy Lewis, Korea's Inbee Park and China's Shanshan Feng following Tseng. Jiyai Shin, who won the opening event of the season, rose two spots to No. 6.
Suzann Pettersen of Norway, So Yeon Ryu of Korea and Japan's Ai Miyazato and Mike Miyazato round out the Top 10.
Lydia Ko, the 15-year-old from South Africa who held at least a share of the lead for the first three rounds of the Australian Open before finishing third, rose four spots to No. 26.
Michelle Wie failed to make the cut in Australia and plummeted eight spots to No. 74.
