Louisville's leading rusher won't participate in spring practice

Jeremy Wright, Louisville's leading rusher in 2012, is not enrolled in classes and will not participate in spring practice, ESPN.com reported Monday.

Wright was a redshirt junior in 2012 and graduated from Louisville in December. He has one year of eligibility remaining and needed to enroll in graduate school classes at Louisville to be eligible for another season. There had been questions previously as to whether he would return to play for Louisville next season.

Last season, Wright led the Cardinals with 824 yards rushing.
