LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- Montrezl Harrell scored 20 points on 9-of-10 shooting as defending national champion Louisville defeated Kentucky Wesleyan 115-67 on Tuesday night in their first exhibition game.

Four guards joined Harrell in double figures. Terry Rozier scored 18 points and Russ Smith had 17 while Chris Jones and Anton Gill added 16 and 13, respectively.

Kentucky Wesleyan trailed 11-9 following Alex Brown's two free throws with 14:41 remaining in the first half but the Cardinals clicked off a 20-2 run over the next 4:11, highlighted by two contested lob dunks by Harrell. Louisville led 49-33 at halftime as the Panthers had nearly as many fouls (24) as points.

Louisville hit 15 of its first 17 shots in the second half to lead 82-45 with 11:55 to play.

Freshman Ken-Jah Bosley led the eight-time Division II champion Panthers with 21 points.

Louisville hosts College of Charleston in their Nov. 9 opener.
