Louisiana-Lafayette tight end Jacob Maxwell is firmly on NFL teams' radar as a potential late-round draft target or a priority free agent.
Maxwell had an undisclosed top 30 visit and has drawn interest from the Jacksonville Jaguars, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New York Jets, Denver Broncos, San Francisco 49ers, Minnesota Vikings, Houston Texans, Seattle Seahawks, Miami Dolphins, Carolina Panthers, Oakland Raiders, New York Giants, St. Louis Rams and the Arizona Cardinals.
The 6-foot-4, 249-pounder ran the 40-yard dash in 4.68 seconds at his campus Pro Day workout and had a 38.5-inch vertical leap with a 10-7 broad jump.
He caught 12 passes for 158 yards and two touchdowns last season.
Maxwell was an All-Sunbelt Conference honorable-mention selection.
