The 2012-13 NBA season gets underway for more teams on Wednesday, October 31, as nine games will take place on the league schedule.
The highlight of the day will be when the Los Angeles Lakers visit the Portland Trail Blazers at the Rose Garden Arena located in Portland, Ore. The new-look Lakers are coming off an opening night defeat at the hands of the Dallas Mavericks while Portland is gearing up for their season debut. The contest will be televised nationally on NBATV.
In another game of interest, Anthony Davis of the New Orleans Hornets will make his NBA debut by hosting the always-strong San Antonio Spurs. This game will also be televised nationally on NBATV prior to the Los Angeles/Portland contest.
