Minnesota quarterback Mitch Leidner had a left foot injury for most of the 2015 season. If you want to see what it looked like after surgery, here’s your chance.

But we’re warning you, there are a lot of stitches and gashes in it.

Just saying.

Don’t scroll if you don’t want to see it.

This is your final warning.

Leidner had surgery to repair torn ligaments in his foot after the Gophers’ Quick Lane Bowl win over Central Michigan. He played most of the 2015 season after dislocating a toe against Kent State; his second-straight season with a toe injury on his left foot. Though he’s been healthy enough to participate in preseason practice for the 2016 season.

“The way that kid competed last year through the injuries he had, I think it makes it easy for his teammates to get out there and follow him,” Minnesota coach Tracy Claeys said. “And this summer he’s done a lot of things with the kids in smaller groups to get our team close.”

Leidner is confident he can play better than he did in 2015. Last season, Leidner threw for 2,701 yards, 14 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

“Because I don’t think I’ve played near what my potential can be,” Leidner said via the Minnesota Star-Tribune. “After what I’ve been able to do this summer, coming off the [foot] surgery, I feel like I’m twice as good of a player as I was last year.”
