Swansea chairman Jenkins confirms interest in Shelvey
Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey has been awarded his side's winning goal in the recent 3-2 victory over West Ham by the FA's dubious goals committee.

The Reds' third goal in the Dec. 9 contest took a sizeable deflection off Hammers defender James Collins before looping over Jussi Jaaskelainen, with replays proving inconclusive as to whether Shelvey touched the ball beforehand.

The strike has now been credited to the 20-year-old, who was deployed in a 'false No. 9' role for the Merseyside outfit's visit to Upton Park. The former Charlton man has now scored five goals in 25 appearances for Brendan Rodgers' side this term, with all but the goal at West Ham coming in UEFA Europa League play.
