The Detroit Lions continue to look at options for depth at wide receiver.
This time, the team signed Jarrett Dillard, a part-time starter last season for the Jacksonville Jaguars who set the NCAA record for touchdown receptions during his career at Rice. Last week, the Lions brought back veteran Maurice Stovall, another wide receiver.
Dillard started five games for the Jaguars last season. He caught 29 passes. The new Jacksonville coaching staff released Dillard in May.
To make room for Dillard on the roster, the Lions released guard Quinn Barham.
