Lions awarded safety off waivers

The Detroit Lions were awarded New Orleans Saints safety Isa Abdul-Quddus off waivers.

He was cut the first week of January.

Abdul-Quddus had 13 tackles and one pass deflection in 11 games for the Saints last sason.

For his career, the 6-foot-1, 205-pounder has 74 tackles and two interceptions in 42 games.
