Buzzing on Yahoo Sports:

Lilly to pitch in minors Tuesday

The SportsXchange

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Ted Lilly apparently changed his mind and decided to continue his minor league rehab assignment.

On Sunday, it was reported that Lilly refused the Dodgers' minor-league assignment. But the Orange County Register reported Lilly will be the starting pitcher for Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday.

Lilly, 37, allowed 10 runs in 12 innings over his first two rehab starts.

It seems Lilly and the Dodgers had a disagreement about whether Lilly was ready to pitch in the majors following offseason shoulder surgery.

It was speculated that Lilly might replace injured Zack Geinke in the Dodgers rotation, but the team announced Chris Capuano will occupy that spot.
