The Tampa Bay Lightning announced Friday that they reassigned defenseman Radko Gudas and forward Richard Panik to the Syracuse Crunch.
Syracuse begins the Calder Cup Playoffs at home Saturday night against the Portland Pirates.
Gudas, a rookie, played 22 games with the Lightning. He had two goals and three assists with a plus-3 rating and 38 penalty minutes. He is fifth among league rookies with 85 hits.
He has played 57 games with the Crunch this season with four goals and 16 assists, leading the AHL with a plus-32 rating and the team with 207 penalty minutes.
Panik had five goals and four assists in 25 games with the Lightning.
In 51 games with the Crunch, he has 22 goals, 19 assists and a plus-17 rating. He ranks third on the team in goals and fifth in points (41).
