LeSean McCoy: RB Committee on Tap?

Rotowire.com
Update: The Eagles plan to give both McCoy and Bryce Brown "a generous number of carries" in 2013, CSN Philly reports.

Recommendation: More carries for Brown likely means less for McCoy, but the exact nature of the split is far from determined at this point, and we still like McCoy's chances of decisively holding off Brown as the two compete for the majority of carries. While two or more backs were often productive at any one time for coach Chip Kelly at Oregon, it was often the result of the team's huge play count rather than an even split of the workload. The more skilled the runner, the greater was their share of the carries, and so players like Jonathan Stewart and LaMichael James safely pulled away from their carry competition, while lesser runners like Jeremiah Johnson and LeGarrette Blount saw splits that were more even. Brown is a formidable talent for sure, but as an elite back, a healthy McCoy ought to earn twice or more the number of carries that Brown does.
