Leonard, Orton suspended one game each

Portland Trail Blazers center Meyers Leonard and Philadelphia 76ers center Daniel Orton were each suspended one game without pay for fighting, the NBA announced Sunday.

The incident occurred with 7:19 remaining in the fourth quarter of the Trail Blazers' 139-105 win over the 76ers on Saturday. Leonard body-slammed Orton to the floor and Orton retaliated by elbowing Leonard in the mouth.

Leonard will serve his suspension Sunday night against the Detroit Pistons. Orton will serve his ban Monday against the Brooklyn Nets.

Both reserves, Leonard is averaging 2.8 points and 2.4 rebounds per game and Orton averages 2.9 points and 2.7 rebounds per contest.
