Other key players for Miami included Dwyane Wade with 21 points and 12 assists, and Chris Andersen with 11 points and 7 rebounds. Despite the loss, Channing Frye put up 16 points for Phoenix on 6-12 shooting, including 4-8 from behind the arc. Goran Dragic chipped in 14 points and 9 assists, Marcus Morris finished with 13 points and 5 rebounds, and Markieff Morris put up 12 points and 9 rebounds.
The Suns posted an eFG% of just 44.6%, including 25.0% from 3-point range. This year, they are 1-1 when they record marks below 45% and 30% in those respective categories. On the other hand, the Heat are undefeated (2-0) when holding their opponents to such low percentages.
