LeBron James put up 43 points to lead the Miami Heat to a close victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers, 100-96. The Heat were on fire in this one, going 34-75 (45.3%) from the field and 20-31 (64.5%) at the free throw line. This is the second win in as many games for Miami (46-19) after beating Houston on Sunday.
James finished 14-19 from the field (6-8 on 3-pointers) and 9-13 from the free throw line, in an efficient offensive performance. Chris Bosh contributed 21 points and 6 rebounds for Miami as well. On 8-13 shooting, including 4-6 from behind the arc, Jarrett Jack put up 22 points for Cleveland in the loss. Anderson Varejao added 16 points and 11 rebounds and Spencer Hawes finished with 11 points and 9 rebounds.
Cleveland (26-42) has now dropped three consecutive games versus Miami.
Coming up next, the Heat take on the Boston Celtics, who are 22-46 on the year. The Cavaliers match up against the Oklahoma City Thunder, currently 49-18 this season. The Heat are 1-1 versus Boston this season. The Cavaliers have a 1-0 record against Oklahoma City this season.
