LeBron James put up 21 points on 5-11 shooting from the field and 11-11 from the free throw line. Other key performers for Miami were Chris Bosh with 18 points and 5 rebounds, Michael Beasley with 14 points and 7 rebounds, and Chris Andersen with 10 points and 5 rebounds. Arron Afflalo had another big game for Orlando in the loss, putting up 30 points on 9-16 shooting (7-9 on 3-point attempts), in addition to going 5-5 from the free throw line. Jameer Nelson added 17 points and 5 rebounds.
Along with their eFG% of 61.5%, the Heat connected at a rate of 62.5% from 3-point range. On the season, they are 6-1 when they record marks above 55% and 40% in those respective categories. Conversely, the Magic are winless (0-2) when allowing their opponents to reach those percentages.
Orlando (4-7) has now lost back-to-back games after falling to Dallas on Saturday.
