LeBron James scored 32 points to help the Miami Heat pummel the New Orleans Pelicans, 107-88. The Heat had a strong shooting performance from the field in this one, going 40-78 (51.3%). This is the third straight victory for Miami (27-8).
James shot 13-22 (3-6 from three-point range) in an efficient offensive performance. Other key players for Miami included Dwyane Wade with 22 points and 8 rebounds, Chris Andersen with 15 points and 7 rebounds, and Chris Bosh with 12 points and 9 rebounds. On 10-18 shooting, Anthony Davis scored 22 points for New Orleans in the loss. He also added 12 rebounds.
New Orleans (15-18) has now dropped consecutive games after losing to Indiana on Saturday.
Coming up, the Heat square off against the New York Knicks, who are 12-22 on the season. The Pelicans go up against the Washington Wizards, currently sitting at 15-17 this year.
