James shot 12-18 from the field and 6-7 from the free throw line, in a good performance. Dwyane Wade chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds for Miami as well. DeMar DeRozan had another big game for Toronto in the loss, putting up 26 points on 11-19 shooting, including 1-4 from behind the arc. He also tallied 7 assists. Amir Johnson added 17 points and 8 rebounds, Kyle Lowry finished with 14 points and 9 assists, and Patrick Patterson put up 11 points and 7 rebounds.
This defeat means an end to a five-game winning streak for Toronto, pushing their record to 16-16 for the year.
