Jaguars choose Babich as defensive coordinator

The Jaguars have re-signed LB Russell Allen to a three-year deal, Tania Ganguli of the Florida Times-Union reported on Tuesday. Allen had been a restricted free agent who was given a second-round tender by the team.

Set to enter his fourth year, Allen has been a productive player in the Jaguars' defense. He has registered 40 or more tackles in each of his first three seasons, including a career-high 48 in 2011. Allen added an interception and two fumbles forced for the Jaguars a year ago.

Terms of the contract have not been announced.
