Laudrup reveals he turned down Champions League clubs to stay at Swansea
Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup remains noncomittal over how long he will remain at the club, insisting that he does not know what the future holds.

The legendary Dane has enjoyed a fantastic season since taking over at the Liberty Stadium last summer, leading the side into the top half of the table and securing the Swans' first-ever major silverware after beating Braford City in the Capital One Cup final.

This success has is said to have caught the attention of such clubs as Arsenal, Chelsea and Real Madrid but Laudrup is refusing to be drawn on such speculation.

The former Mallorca boss told reporters: "I've said it already a couple of times - my intention is to stay here next year but, again, who knows about the future?

"One thing is our intention and my intention is that. Do you know your future next year? You are 100 percent what you will do next year?

"You can have an intention and think 'this is my plan' but none of us knows it, because ... maybe it's a good thing that we don't know what's going on in the crystal ball there because it could be positive or negative, you never know if you talk about life."

Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins has expressed optimism that the club can secure Laudrup on a longer-term deal.
