LaMarcus Aldridge put up 30 points and registered 21 rebounds to help the Portland Trail Blazers beat the Golden State Warriors, 113-101. Portland (12-2) has now won 10 in a row, dating back to a 104-91 victory over the Sacramento Kings on November 8th.
Aldridge finished 7-21 from the field and 16-19 from the free throw line. Damian Lillard also contributed for Portland, finishing with 20 points and 9 assists. Klay Thompson had another strong performance for Golden State in the loss, putting up 30 points on 10-13 shooting (2-4 on 3-point attempts), in addition to going 8-8 from the free throw line. David Lee added 15 points and 12 rebounds and Harrison Barnes finished with 13 points and 5 assists.
Golden State (8-6) has now lost 3 consecutive games.
Coming up, the Trail Blazers square off against the New York Knicks, who are 3-9 on the season. The Warriors match up with the New Orleans Pelicans, currently sitting at 6-7 this year.
