Other key players for Portland included Damian Lillard with 21 points and 6 rebounds, Nicolas Batum with 12 points and 7 rebounds, and Robin Lopez with 11 points and 7 rebounds. On 10-18 shooting, including 1-4 from behind the arc, Jeff Teague scored 22 points for Atlanta in the loss. Paul Millsap chipped in 10 points and 6 rebounds.
In addition to 18.2% from 3-point range, the Hawks tallied an eFG% of just 42.9%. They are 3-7 on the season when registering marks below 30% and 45%, respectively, in those statistics. The Trail Blazers, conversely, are undefeated (8-0) when holding the opposition to such dismal shooting numbers.
Atlanta (31-40) has now dropped their last five straight contests.
